I'm a self taught photographer from Sheffield, UK, but this has never been my day job. Over the last 10 years I’ve done a lot of development work in East Africa, including many water and sanitation projects as well as a couple of years running a small social enterprise in Kenya. Most of the photos on this site were taken during my time in Kakamega, a small town in Western Kenya that I fell in love with for a time. At the moment I’m working at the British Refugee Council back in Sheffield, doing community development work on the Syrian refugee resettlement programme.
